faq april 17, 10:00 amWhat is the shop minimum?
Shop minimum is $150.Is tipping required?
Tips are always appreciated! Cash or Venmo is preferred. If using Venmo, please put a random emoji. How far out do you book?
I usually book in 2-month blocks (ex. Jan-Feb). My books are usually 1-2 months in advance. What do you prefer to tattoo?
Preferred: Florals, Ghibli, Asian theme imagery, soft shading, illustrative pieces. Anything pictured on my Instagram.
No's: Geometrics, mandalas, realism, traditional, anything not pictured on my Instagram. How are things priced?
Design complexity, size and placement all affect the final cost. The bigger and more intricate the design, the more supplies & time it will take. Placement also plays a role, as some areas are more difficult to tattoo than others. Why are my rates as such?
There’s a lot that goes into tattooing that clients don’t always see. This includes time spent drafting and designing, tattoo equipment and supplies, and more. Even for a small tattoo, the setup uses about the same amount of supplies as a larger piece. Also, most of the time, a tattoo artist doesn’t keep 100% of the profit from a tattoo since a portion goes to the shop.My budget is xxx
I'm happy to work on a design if you have a set budget. Just keep in mind that there will be design and size limitations based on that budget. *This applies only to customs.
Flash designs will have a certain starting price due to their minimum size requirement. Why is the deposit not refundable?
The deposit secures your dedicated time with the artist. In the event of a cancellation or last minute reschedules, the deposit compensates for my time and the missed opportunity to book another client. Can I change my design after booking?
Flash: You may change your design if the desired flash is still available. pricing may vary depending on the new design.
Custom: Let me know at least a week in advance if you want to make any changes to the design concept.
For a completely new idea, please reach out to me as soon as possible. However, keep in mind I may choose not to accept the new idea.Pricing may vary depending on new design. Can I bring a guest to my appointment?
You may bring a guest. However, depending on the foot traffic, there may not be space for them to sit with you during the tattoo. In that case, they will need to remain in the lobby. Can I use numbing cream?
Numbing cream is not recommended. It alters the skin's texture and can make the tattooing process more difficult. It may also affect the healing process. If you absolutely need numbing cream, please be aware a touch-up will require a fee. Please let me know if you plan to use numbing prior to your appointment. Can you tattoo this design drawn by someone else?
I will not directly trace or copy artwork, someone else's tattoo or a design drawn by another artist.
The only exceptions are if you have commissioned artwork or a tattoo design and the artist has given explicit consent that their artwork can be used. In that case, proof of consent will be required. These will be considered on a case-by-case basis and only accepted if the design is in a similar style to mine or something I feel confident I can execute. Can I go to a rave/club/festival etc.?
No! Do not attend these events until your tattoo has fully healed. Usually a minimum one month or more.Your tattoo is an open wound and exposing it to such environments increases the risk of infection and may affect healing. events during the healing process.
If a touch up is needed due to improper aftercare, it will no longer be complimentary.
